As a native Floridian, Captain Ricker grew up living on the water and has been fishing and running his own boats since he was 11 years old! He has held his captain’s license for fifteen years and is highly experienced with both inland and offshore fishing, enjoying all the waterways that Florida has to offer anglers.

Captain Ricker has also spent many years living in Hawaii where he could be surrounded by water. There he was a blue water and competitive sport fisherman, with placings and winnings in Hawaii tournaments.

As a professional waterman, Captain Ricker enjoys everything to do with the water such as free diving, spear fishing, kiteboarding, surfing, rowing, and windsurfing. He is also dedicated to protecting the fragile waterways of Florida.

Captain Ricker now lives on the marsh and intracoastal in Flagler County, truly a slice of Old Florida, with a third acre fresh water stocked pond that he shares with his pet gator!
